Vikky Green is American Home Interiors Senior Design Consultant.

Vikky entered the industry after being recruited out of college by Evans-Black Carpet, to be their first female sales representative, one of only two in the nation.

Vikky’s career has been on the leading edge of the Interior Surfaces industry from the very beginning.
As a designer for S & S Shappell (now Shapell Homes and S&S Construction) she was in the vanguard of
the development of the Design Center concept.

Some of her most notable accomplishments include being the first female President of the Orange County
Flooring Assoc.; the first female President of both the Southern California Floor Covering Club and
the World Floor Covering Association.

Vikky was instrumental in the creation of the industry leading Surfaces Expo trade show, which has become the standard for new product introduction in the industry.

As President and Chairwoman of the WFCA from 2000 thru 2002 she was also instrumental in developing both Educational and Certification Programs for Salespeople and Installers.

Vikky’s numerous industry recognitions include Person Of the Year, Orange County Flooring Assoc.

Vikky addresses design with a similar approach as in the rest of her endeavors. She processes information with feelings and emotions when working with a client. This results in an interior as unique as the customers. “I enjoy the process just as much as the results. My taste might not be the same as my customers; I just have to make sure it is in the best of taste”
